CYY-LK2/LK7 Carbon Silicon Analyzer — Rapid Pre-Pour Liquid Iron Composition Check
The CYY-LK2 and CYY-LK7 Carbon Silicon Analyzer is essential for foundries. Within minutes, it accurately measures carbon (C%), silicon (Si%), manganese (Mn%), carbon equivalent (CEL), spheroidization ratio, tensile strength, and hardness of molten iron. This enables operators to adjust molten iron composition directly at the furnace before pouring, minimizing defects and saving material costs. The 2-inch TFT display offers clear visibility with an intuitive English interface.
CYY-W330/W600/W660 Liquid Metal Thermometer — Accurately Measures Temperature of Molten Iron, Steel, Copper, and Aluminum
Accurately measuring molten metal temperature is critical to casting quality. We offer three product lines tailored to meet every need:
CYY-W330 — Portable Handheld Metallurgical Temperature Meter
Compact and flexible, ideal for on-site inspection in foundries.
CYY-W600 — Large-screen Steel and Iron Temperature Meter
Fixed installation at the furnace; remote temperature reading, ideal for large-scale steel plants.
CYY-W660 — Wireless Large-Screen Metallurgical Temperature Measurement System
Use self-linking communication module (walkie-talkie style), independent of WiFi or Bluetooth. Once measurement is complete and temperature is locked, data is automatically transmitted to the large display in under 1 seconds. One large display can connect to multiple handheld meters, automatically receiving and storing data. The display includes buttons for historical data lookup and supports automatic printing with precise timestamps (year/month/day/hour/minute/second) to ensure accurate data archiving and standardized workflow.
The CYY-LK2 and CYY-LK7 carbon-silicon analysis lines are CE certified (Certificate No. M.2026.206.C145544); the CYY-W330, CYY-W600, and CYY-W660 molten metal temperature measurement lines (along with CYY-WB330 and CYY-WC330) are also CE certified (Certificate No. M.2026.206.C136672). These instrument series measure liquid cast iron, liquid steel, liquid copper, and liquid aluminum.
Infrared Carbon Sulfur Analyzer CYY-TL5 — Final Quality Testing in the Laboratory
In the chemical laboratory, the infrared carbon-sulfur analyzer CYY-TL5 plays a critical role in final product quality testing. The device completes analysis of a single sample in just 35 seconds—significantly faster than traditional methods. Its cost is only 1/5 that of an optical emission spectrometer (OES), offering a cost-effective solution for small and medium-sized enterprises.
7-Step Pre-Furnace Inspection Process — From Temperature Measurement to Quality Verification
Bước 1 — First-time temperature measurement
Use a smelting pyrometer to measure the temperature of molten metal in the furnace. Accurate temperature ensures the alloying process meets specifications.
Bước 2 — Sample and analyze
Pour a small amount of molten metal into the sample cup (Iron Sample Cup), then load it into the carbon silicon analyzer (Cast Iron Carbon Silicon Analyzer) to measure C%, Si%, Mn%, and CEL.
Bước 3 — Adjust composition
If analysis results do not meet requirements, add alloying material (ferroalloy) to the furnace to adjust the chemical composition.
Bước 4 — Check again
Wait approximately 15 minutes or until the molten metal is fully dissolved, then re-measure the composition to confirm it meets specifications.
Bước 5 — Last temperature reading
After the composition meets requirements, measure the molten metal temperature. The ladle can only be discharged if both temperature and composition meet specifications.
Bước 6 — Unmold and pour
Liquid metal is poured from the furnace into a tundish, then cast into molds to shape the product.
Bước 7 — Product quality testing in the laboratory
After casting is complete, quality checks must be conducted in the chemical and physical laboratories. Changyouyi provides a full suite of testing equipment, including: an infrared carbon-sulfur analyzer (CYY-TL5) for measuring C and S content; an optical emission spectrometer (OES) for comprehensive elemental metal analysis; a metallographic analyzer for microstructural inspection; and a hardness tester to determine product hardness values. This final inspection ensures products meet all standards before shipment.
